It is vendor-neutral

The Linux series of CBT Nuggets is vendor-neutral and includes a variety of training options for different Linux versions. For example, there is the Linux Admin course. This course is also vendor-neutral. It focuses primarily upon application development and administration. The course contains eight hours of video content, and it recommends video tutorials for specific Linux versions. The Linux Professional Institute also issues a vendor-neutral certification for the course.

Linux series video tutorials can be used to learn about all major Linux distributions. Keith Barker CCIE Routing & Switching Instructor, makes the videos. Through the CBT NuggetsIT Library, you'll learn how MPLS is implemented, verified, and used. If you are unsure how to install or configure different Linux distributions, there is a list with FAQs and tips.

It also offers virtual labs along with video lessons

The Linux in the Real World video series was recently featured in a major Linux magazine, the Linux User & Developer. CBT Nuggets has not yet launched a "Real World Series". A similar series was created by Jeremy Cioara in 2016 on Cisco for Real World. Cioara wanted to create a series that addressed real-world issues, such as the security of cloud-based storage.

Unlike most online computer courses, CBT Nuggets uses a unique approach to delivering instructor-led training without the high cost of a classroom. The instructors will guide students through the tutorials and give detailed explanations to any questions they may have. They're not exams, and users can revisit them as often as necessary. CBT Nuggets are not equipped with practice exams and review software. CBT Nuggets is worth a chance if the price tag for training is acceptable.

What is the best way to study for cyber security certification

The certifications in cyber security are essential for anyone working in the IT industry. The most common courses available include CompTIA Security+ (1), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Security (2), and Cisco CCNA Security Certification (3). All of these courses are recognized by employers and offer a solid foundation. However, there are many other options such as Oracle Certified Professional – Java SE 7 Programmer (4) and IBM Information Systems Security Foundation (5).

The decision is yours. But make sure that you understand what you're doing.

How long is a Cyber Security Course?

Cybersecurity training courses last from six to 12 weeks, depending upon how much time you have. A short-term course is not something you should consider. An online option, such as University of East London's Cyber Security Certificate Program (which meets three times per semaine for four consecutive weeks), might be an option. The full-time immersive version is also available if you have a few months left. These classes include lectures, assignments, discussions, and group meetings that are all intended to give you a solid understanding of cybersecurity. It is easy to budget because the tuition fee covers accommodation, meals, textbooks, IT equipment, and transportation. Students will learn not only the basics of cybersecurity but also practical skills such penetration testing and network forensics. A certificate is awarded upon graduation. In addition to helping students get started in cybersecurity, hundreds of students have been able to secure jobs in this industry after they have graduated.

A shorter course can be completed in under two years. This is the best thing about it. Long-term training will require more effort, however. While you will be spending most of your time learning, you will also need to attend classes regularly. An extended course will cover topics such vulnerability assessment, mobile device management, digital encryption, digital forensics, and malware. This route is possible, but you must dedicate at least six hours per week to your studies. It is also important to show up for scheduled meetings. These can be held in person or online using platforms like Skype, Google Hangouts, and other similar tools. Depending on your location, these may be compulsory.

Course duration will depend on whether you choose a full-time or part-time program. Part-time programs are shorter and may only cover half the curriculum. Full-time programs require intensive instruction, so they will be spread over several semesters. No matter which route you choose to take, it is important that your chosen course has flexible scheduling options in order to make it work for you.

What are the highest-paid IT certifications?

There doesn't appear to be an answer. The general consensus seems to be that Microsoft certifications tend to attract more money.
